Program Description

Note: This course work is in addition to / secondary to the annual State Mandated trainings you are required to complete through Statewide LMS (SLMS; www.nyslearn.com) or the HRI Litmos LMS.  State mandated training should be prioritized.

This voluntary, self-directed, on-boarding program is intended to provide a grounding for staff that are new to working with a public health agency.  The courses seek to build awareness of topics that are important and broadly applicable to the current practice of public health.

Once enrolled in these courses, you will be able to launch them from the My Courses-Current Courses area of the homepage or by clicking My Courses in the navigation menu on the left. Some courses will redirect you to the PHTC-Online or FEMA eLearning website and require a short secondary registration.

Job Aides are available for 1) Registering for the LMS, 2) Enrolling in a Course and 3) Enrolling in a Program.   IF you require *any* assistance please Contact Abbey.Greenbaum@health.ny.gov or Thomas.Reizes@health.ny.gov or call 518-473-4223 and listen for extensions.
