Program Description
Welcome to the Basic Navigation Course Program.
Basic Navigation courses encompass the core navigation features for the Dave Application for Vital Events (DAVE) system.
Topic areas covered include:
- Locate, in DAVE, the office selected at logging in
- Navigate the DAVE Home page
- Identify Options for starting a DAVE case
- Identify where to access messages
- Identify standard case components, such as the registration menu, key identifiers, and status bar, in the DAVE application
- Navigate within a DAVE case
- View DAVE queues from the menu bar or the Queues option on the Home page
- View DAVE Messages
- Use the calendar feature to select a date
- Enter dates manually using appropriate formats
- Use the Look-up tool to search for places in DAVE
- Use the Look-up tool to search for people in DAVE
- Validate a Database Application for Vital Events (DAVE)
- Resolve and override validation errors
