Background
In support of the BPR-10/CRI-3 Medical Countermeasure (MCM) Point of Dispensing (POD) Access and Functional Needs (AFN) Annual PHEP Exercise/Real Event, this webinar will provide local health departments (LHDs) with the information needed to aide in conducting the 3 of 3 drills while considering access and functional needs principles in a POD setting. During this webinar background information, guidance, and details will be discussed to provide LHDs with a general understanding of access and functional needs principles, as well as the 3 of 3 drills and the necessity to conduct these operational drills with county staff regularly. Additionally, frequently asked questions will be discussed to provide further context and understanding of the deliverable requirements.
Goal
This webinar will provide LHDs with information, guidance, and recommendations to conduct the 3 of 3 MCM Drills during an exercise and/or real-world event informed by access and functional needs planning, principles and best practices in POD settings. The webinar will also include a preview of the Health Electronic Response Data System (HERDS) survey questions that require completion to fulfill deliverable requirements.
Target Audience
LHD staff participating in medical countermeasure distribution and dispensing and setup operations, especially those completing the 3 of 3 MCM Drills deliverable (BPR-10/CRI-3).
