Burnout for healthcare workers poses a genuine concern for the field of medicine and public health, at large.  SUNY Upstate Medical Hospital has been forward thinking in their commitment to supporting staff wellness and addressing this occupational hazard.  Upstate Social Worker, Lauren Angelone, will share many of these initiatives, including specific responses and protocols to improve the functional well-being of staff.
