This Course Meets the Requirements for BP1 (2024-2025) BPR-5.

 

The purpose of this course is to prepare the NYSDOH Medical Emergency Response Inventory Tracking System (MERITS) application version 6.5 for management of an organizations inventory.

 

MERITS 201 Objectives:

  1. Search, view, and export Master Inventory
  2. Search and add sites when needed
  3. Plan and set up location information for each site
  4. Request asset to be added to Item List
  5. Receive Inventory
    • Existing
    • From NYSDOH/MERC
    • Newly purchased items
  6. Update Inventory Location from the Loading Dock to Storage Area
  7. Adjust inventory quantity
  8. Convert existing item in inventory to smaller units
  9. Ship an order (Issue Order)
  10. Generate and download reports
