Course Description:
This training webinar will review the required Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) 2024-2025 Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Risk Assessment Data Elements (RADE). This optional training will provide Local Health Departments (LHDs) with additional information related to the CDC RADE requirements as well as changes to the LHD Annual Preparedness Survey (APS) which will be used to capture risk assessment data.
Course Objectives:
- Participants will be able to describe the new CDC RADE elements required for 2024.
- Participants will receive resources to assist in the collection of risk assessment data.
- Participants will understand how to complete new LHD APS questions to capture RADE data.
Target Audience:
Preparedness representatives, planning staff, and any additional staff who have a role in emergency preparedness and response planning and PHEP deliverables completion.
