Course Description

WebEx recording designed to train participants on delivering the evidence-based program Living Independent From Tobacco (LIFT).  LIFT is tailored to meet the needs of people with and without disabilities.  Participants will increase their knowledge and strategies to address the harmful effects of tobacco and how to cope with withdrawal.  For more information please contact DHP@health.ny.gov.   

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn to facilitate the LIFT program
  2. Increase knowledge of strategies to support a group to meet their individual goals
  3. Promote learner participation and involvement
  4. Learn data collection and submission requirements for LIFT programs implemented with support from NYS Disability and Health Program
