Course Description

To get COMPLETE/CREDIT for this course:

1.  Please return to the LMS after viewing the content of the course
2.  Go to "My Courses"
3.  Select "Current Courses" folder
4.  Select  "Quiz - due" in the Activities Column

Once you pass the quiz, the course will be moved to your "Completed Courses" folder and your certificate will become available. CDC gives instructions at the end of the course to obtain their certificate with CEUs. The CDC certificate is not required by the NYSDOH.

 

This online Crisis and Emergency Risk Communication course will stress the fundamentals of CDC's Crisis & Emergency Risk Communication (CERC). The course has been designed to serve those who will perform crisis and risk communication and media relations in the event of a public health emergency.


The target audiences include federal, state, and local public health professionals; healthcare professionals; emergency medical services professionals; preparedness partners; and civic and community leaders.
