Course Description

 UASPH-EH 107: Bureau of Community Environmental Health & Food Protection Programs (BCEHFP)

This course is part of the Basic Environmental Health Program

 

     Overview of the Bureau of Community Environmental Health and Food Protection programs encompassing common scientific foundations and public health goals and the administrative functions and field services designed to achieve them. Program areas include:

 

  • Recreational Health: Children’s Camps, Swimming Pools, Bathing Beaches, Recreational Aquatic Spraygrounds, Campgrounds, Agricultural Fairgrounds, Mass Gatherings
  • Migrant Farm Worker Housing
  • Temporary Residences
  • Mobile Home Parks
  • Food Protection: Food Service Establishments and Foodborne Disease Surveillance
