Course Description

This class will explain accounting records, indirect v direct costs, and budgets to non-accountants.  Understanding grantee’s accounting records and budgets will help you monitor your contract more efficiently and effectively.  It will help you ensure grantee’s appropriately budget, track, and claim DOH grants.  Attendees will learn the difference between direct and indirect costs, the three options for claiming indirect costs and what to look for in a budget to verify it is correct before it’s approved.
