Course Description:
This course will define the four (4) types of discussion-based exercises in accordance with the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) doctrine, compare and contrast applications for discussion-based exercises, and discuss planning considerations for discussion-based exercises.
Course Objectives:

Participants will be able to explain seminars, workshops, tabletop exercise (TTX), and games as defined by HSEEP doctrine.

Participants will examine planning considerations and required documentation for discussion-based exercises.

Participants will be able to describe how discussion-based exercises contribute to a progressive exercise program approach.
Target Audience:
Local Health Department (LHD) staff involved in planning, management, design, development, conduct and evaluation of exercises or those involved in roles at all levels of the planning process.
