Course Description:

In support of the BPR-8 Local Health Department (LHD) Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (PHEPRP) Update, a webinar will be offered to provide LHDs with a review of administrative preparedness and the BPR-8 deliverable. The webinar will give the LHDs a better understanding of administrative preparedness planning recommendations and review the elements of completion for this   deliverable.

 

Course Objectives:

  • Participants will understand the basic principles of administrative preparedness.
  • Participants will be able to describe the elements of completion for the 2025-2026 (BP2) Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program (PHEP) Local Health Department (LHD) BPR-8 deliverable.
  • Participants will understand the process for submitting the updated plan and self-review tool.

 

Target Audience:

Public health emergency preparedness staff and any additional staff who have a role in writing, reviewing, and updating LHD plans.
