Course Description:
This course defines the Integrated Preparedness Plan (IPP) as defined by the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) doctrine, discuss IPP templates and documentation, and detail the IPP process to include the Integrated Preparedness Plan Workshop (IPPW).
Course Objectives:

Participants will identify the contents of an IPP and the process to identify priority and capability areas.

Participants will examine the documentation and tracking process associated with IPPs, including location of HSEEP templates.

Participants will develop an understanding of what an effective IPP does, including to help to shape preparedness priorities and support continuous improvements.
Target Audience:
Local Health Department (LHD) staff involved in planning, management, design, development, conduct and evaluation of exercises or those involved in roles at all levels of the planning process.
