Course Description

Based on the presentations recorded on 05/14/24, participants will be able to:

• Identify ways in which hospitals, EMS, public health and emergency management can prepare for, respond to and recover from a hazmat event in the community
• Learn about the state and federal resources that are available for deployment and use during a chemical incident
• Describe effective methods utilized by agencies and hospitals to respond to hazmat incidents
• Review best practices to provide support to staff after an event
