The goal of the IS-0800.d, National Response Framework, An Introduction, is to provide guidance for the whole community. Within this broad audience, the National Response Framework focuses especially on those who are involved in delivering and applying the response core capabilities, including:
- Private sector partners
- Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
- Government officials
- Community leaders
- Emergency management practitioners
- First responders
Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe the purpose, scope, organization, and underlying doctrine of the National Response Framework.
- Describe the roles and responsibilities of response partners.
- Describe core capabilities for response and actions required to deliver those capabilities.
- Describe coordinating structures and operational planning used to support emergency response.
- Describe how the stabilization of the seven Community Lifelines reduces threats to public health and safety, or economic security.

This webinar can be used as a refresher of ICS-800 or to assist you in taking the IS-800.D online course/exam offered through the FEMA Training website. Completing the webinar alone does not meet the requirements for completing ICS-800. You will still need to take the exam offered through FEMA to receive a certificate of completion for ICS800. Once you have passed the test offered at www.training.fema.gov, you will receive an email with a certificate of completion attached.

In order to receive official FEMA certification in ICS-800 students must take the FEMA Final Exam via link provided. Please note that the IS Program now requires a FEMA SID to be used instead of your SSN. If you do not have a SID, register for one here.
