Course Description

Today’s complex health care environment requires that emergency planning go beyond the traditional approach to preparedness.  Continuity planning identifies key clinical and business functions and the strategies required to recover when operations have been disrupted.  This program will provide participant with an understanding of the continuity planning processes and provide the tools to develop a facility or agency Continuity Plan.  The course will include exercises to highlight Continuity Plan processes and provide hands-on experience.
