Purpose of Training

What is CDMS

CDMS is a software application located on the Health Commerce System (HCS). The application provides local, regional and state health departments with a single data reporting tool that may be used regardless of the hazard or agent during a public health incident or event. Public health organizations across the state use CDMS to capture recipient demographic and visit information related to the distribution of countermeasure (e.g., immunizations, antibiotics, personal protective equipment, diagnostic testing) during clinical operations, community reception centers during a radiological incident, or in support of documentation needs during public health emergency preparedness exercises.

Upon completion, you will be able to:

  • Requests Events, Forms or both if needed
  • Manage Locations, Providers and Countermeasures
  • Create a new Operation, including creating registration schedules and associating providers and countermeasures
  • Find registration links and know how they differ
  • Cancel or Reactivate Event Registrants
  • View all Registrants for an Operation
  • Update Registrant record with countermeasure information
  • Understand the difference between Register, Recall Registration and Recall Visits
  • Utilize Reports.
